Hampton Seniors Are Welcome
Hampton sits in the eastern part of Carter County near Watauga Lake, a
community of long-time neighbors, families, and farms. If you live in
Hampton and are looking for a senior center, Elizabethton Senior Center
welcomes you to join us in Elizabethton.
Many people find that the hardest part of staying active in retirement is
finding a regular reason to leave the house. A morning class, a workout
in our fitness center, or lunch with friends gives Hampton members a
reason to get out and a group of people who notice when they are there.
Why Hampton Members Make the Trip
Hampton members tell the same story as members from every part of the
county: they come for one program and stay for the people. Whether you
enjoy art, educational talks from guest speakers, or a game of bingo with
a local organization, there is room for you.
Plan a first visit around lunch or a class on the calendar, and bring a
neighbor along. We would be glad to show you around.
What a Visit Looks Like
Everything described here happens at the center in Elizabethton. Members
enjoy a fitness center, classes and workshops, art programs, community
outings, and a daily lunch that can be eaten on-site or taken to-go. Our
calendar lists what is coming up,
and the nutrition calendar shows the
lunch menu.
